My little Peyt-a-rooskie had surgery this week, to have her tonsils/adenoids/ear tubes removed. She spent part of the day with me, the day before. I asked her how she felt about the surgery and she told me she was scared. I fervently prayed for her, that night. I asked God to give her grace and peace about it. I knew she was going to hurt afterward, and that just kills me. But, I also know it was for her good, to have it done as she'd feel a lot better, in the long run.
I bought her a few fun things to do, while she was down. She seemed to be very pleased with them. She's opening them below.
Here she is, all grins, before surgery. I really felt like she was calm and peaceful. She didn't seem nervous, at all.I bought her a few fun things to do, while she was down. She seemed to be very pleased with them. She's opening them below.
A rare family picture here. (Well, Paige isn't in it, but the pic is good, anyway) By this time, she was feeling happy, in a drug induced way.
Here's her immediately after surgery. Poor baby is feeling pretty awful, as we knew she would.
God was good, once again. He kept her calm and seemingly not nervous. It's another way, we can show her how FAITHFUL He is. She had surgery 3 days ago and is healing very well. We've been to visit her and called her as well. I'm proud of her and how brave she truly was. I love you, Peyt!
