I got a note home from the school a couple of days ago saying the Brookelyn would be given an award in the "Honors Award Ceremony". So, Nathan and Lauren and I went to her school today to see her get this award. She got the girl "Outstanding Music Award" for the first grade. She was soooooo excited! We love her music teacher, Mrs. Smith. She really does a wonderful job with her students. She told Brookelyn's teacher (who told me) that Brookelyn is the best first grade singer she's ever had. I'm not surprised. I do believe maybe she's taken after her Uncle Brock with her vocal talent.

Congratulations, Brookelynn. What a great award. I don't know about the Powell side but those T-bros can all sing. And, Momma, Nathan sings while in the Sunday School room. Does the motions. Sits quietly. Is an all around good little boy. He is a delight to watch, as all the children are. I love our class. They are learning about Jesus, it doesn't get any better than that.
