This week, Lauren and I were busy mixing yellow and red food coloring to make the orange icing for Brookelyn's cake for school. We didn't realize that Nathan had found the BLUE food coloring and was having a hey day with it! He came to me w/ his hands in the air and saying "MESSY!". He wasn't kidding! He also had a spot on the end of his nose (picture Rudolph!) and a small dot on the outside of his upper lip. After MUCH scrubbing, he was still blue 2 days later. When we walked into the school, the 2 teachers who were in the hall (and I know them outside of school) and secretary all started laughing out loud at him! It was crazy! Anyway, he did NOT get it on any furniture (although he got into it in the living room!). He only got a VERY small spot on the carpet and it was mostly on his Little Tykes car that washed off with soap and water...unlike his skin! So, other than my blue boy, everything else was ok...
Yes! Lauren and I learned a lesson! I tell you, little boys are a WHOLE new world for me! A FUN one, but wow!

I LIKE your new format! And since I never had a little girl, I really can't compare, but I will tell you that the LOVE that little boys have for their mommies is unsurpassed by ANYTHING! Maybe it's because mommies remember the blue hand episodes and STILL love them!!
