7 Years Ago Today!

Brookelyn is 7 years old today! Above is a picture of her I took last night before church. Below are pictures that were taken last year.

Brookelyn,
You are the light of my life. You provide constant giggles in our home. You fill our home and our neighborhood with singing. Many many days you stand on our porch, singing at the top of your lungs, dance around and you don't care who's watching. You laugh easily. You say some of the funniest things. Your 1st grade teacher has repeatedly told me how bright you are. (We already knew that!) You have a tender heart. When Great-Grandma had a heart attack, your first concern was whether or not she had Jesus in her heart. We sat on her hospital bed as tears streamed down your face because Grandma told you she'd see you in heaven, when she died. You rush to others' aid when you know they've been hurt. You are sensitive. You are loving. You love to cuddle and hug.
I love you, so much Brook-ee-lyn. I pray you have MANY more birthdays and that you continue to have your tender heart and your concern for others' spiritual lives and grow to be a Godly woman and love your God with all of your heart!

Love, Mom

Oh my goodness....who is that beautiful grown-up girl in that picture? WOW! I sit here with tears in my eyes to think of that darling baby I got to meet and hold seven short years ago and now to see the sweet girl she's grown into. Granddad and I pray for you. Keep loving Jesus, Brookie. Shine for Him. Keep singing and smiling! We love you!!! Nana :-D
