Today was Brookelyn's first day of 1st grade. She was really nervous about it last night and just cried and cried. But, this morning, she was excited and a little apprehensive. She really liked her new teacher (I knew she would) and 4 of her classmates from Kindergarten were in her class. That helped as well. Her teacher is excited to let me help in her classroom (something I was aprehensive about) and we already figured out a preliminary schedule. So, this promises to be a great year with Mrs. Pate and 1st grade! Yay!
Thank you for praying for her. She didn't fall asleep until about 11 last night. But, she finally calmed down and jumped right up this morning and was ready to go in her new outfit (thanks to Nana and Grand-dad!).
