Shopping With Nana

A couple of weeks ago, my mom (aka Nana) took my girls and P&P shopping for fun. Oh my, did they ever have a blast spending Grand-dad's money! They got to buy a dress and an outfit (that they picked out). They went to lunch with Nana at their collectively favorite place, Culvers. They're all still talking about it. Nana took a camera along to document their day of fun and adventure. When they got to church that night, they all modeled their outfits in an impromptu fashion show. Nathan got in on the fun for the last picture. He got an outfit out of the deal too, but he doesn't have it on in the picture.

You forgot to tell that Granddad gave them guidelines: It had to be patriotic (red, white or blue) and it couldn't cost over $1.50! All the way home from Champaign they practiced their line so that when he asked, "And how much of my money did you spend?", they could say, "We went a l-i-t-t-l-e OVER budget, Granddad!" That was the funniest part of the day for me...hearing them plan what they were going to say! :-D As you can tell from the picture, he didn't care at ALL what they spent~and I think they knew that, too!

It was great fun and I am already looking forward to our Back to School shopping trip...

Love, Mom/Nana xoxoxoxoxo

What great memories with Nana & Grandad.
What was going on in the picture of L and B with their hand over their mouths? Was that just shock at how much they spent?

Johanna,
They were given a budget of $1.50 by my dad and they're obviously over. That's them looking at the reciept. Mom's creative.

Love the clothes. Good choices. Glad Granddad is generous. The girls have a good time with an "experienced" shopper like Nana.
