Prayers needed, please!

Last night, I received a phone call from Paul's mom. His brother, Darrel, has had a relapse with lymphoma just recently. He had it about 5 years ago and it went into remission. We found out, late this summer, that it's back. He's been receiving frequent blood transfusions for several weeks. Last night, he called her to say he was admitted to the hospital (he lives about 2 hours away) and is very ill. He caught a virus from someone at work and his body couldn't handle it. The dr felt it best to admit him and start a round of chemotherapy in-patient for the next 5 days. He's very week and not doing well. He doesn't have a church family and no family around him other than his wife and adopted son. He's about 50 years old. If you're feeling led to, will you please pray for him.

I offerred to take my mom-in-law up to see him, but she just feels unable to make the trip at this time. I just feel so bad and helpless about all of this.
