A while back, I was taking donations to help my mom's school raise money for the local hospital's pediatric unit. I wanted to update you on how that went (the contest is over) and what's next. The kids at her school raised a whopping $1420!!! So, since my mom's limit was $500, her hair WILL BE BLUE!!! What a great cause for her school. The deal is that since the kids raised over $1000, the whole staff will be going blue. How cool is that?!? Anyway, here are the details, as I know them...
Next Wednesday, on Halloween, my mother will don blue hair for the entire school day. Brookely will be skipping school, and the other kids in my family, will trek to Nana's school to see the Blue Haired Nana. They are beyond excited about this opportunity. hehe! Anyway, thank you to those who felt led to donate to the cause ;) (you know who you are!) and contributed to what I know will invoke some serious giggles from my arrows! I'll be posting pictures right here, on this very blog, of the big blue turning event. Stay tuned!

And I made a mistake...misinformation...sorry! We only raised $1220. Still not bad for our little school, huh?!? Just wanted to make sure you got the correct info.
And my NOT SO SINCERE thanks to all those wonderful "friends" who contributed to the blue-hair fund. If it wasn't for such a good cause, I'd get you all!!!
