The Day after Christmas

The fam. (Thanks, San, for taking this!)

A pic of the sibbs and our arrows.

Daddy helping our littlest arrow open presents. Who knew he'd like to open them? Maybe we'd have gotten him a few.

Our tradition is that on Christmas Eve, we open all of our presents to each other so the kids can play with their new toys. On Christmas morning, Santa has left one gift, unwrapped, beside the tree. This year, Santa hit the jackpot. When the American Girl doll, Samantha, was found, tears flowed and sobbing began. What a joy to know we got her something she REALLY wanted. She doesn't believe in Santa anymore, so she knows who REALLY got the doll for her. She just hugged and hugged me. The only other time I've seen her react like this was when she got saved by asking Jesus into her heart. What a fantastic reaction. She's not let the doll leave her sight, since yesterday morning.

I pray that each of you reading this, found true JOY this Christmas. Not in the gift giving, but the true joy that only comes from Jesus. He's the only true Joy-giver. Merry Christmas from my family to yours.

What a great day! On the way home, I was praying and crying, thanking Jesus for coming to be born. How blessed we are to have him in our lives and hearts.
