We had the opportunity to get away for 3 days last week. It was so nice to have some family time. I really do cherish these times we get to do things like this. The first night, Paul and I got to spend alone. Sandy watched the kids for us and so we had our first alone time in a hotel since Brookelyn was 2, I think. (She's 8 now.) Then, we came hom on Thursday and got the kids and took them back with us for the rest of the time.
We rented some movies and watched one together. 5 of us sharing the laptop was fun.
The hotel had free breakfast and I took stuff to make in our room for lunch (we had a microwave and fridge in our room) to help keep costs low. We spent a lot of time in the pool.
