Lauren

Lauren is 11 now. She had her birthday while I was trying to figure out how to fix my blog problems. She is such a sweet girl. She's got beautiful, thick auburn colored hair. She's loving and kind.



She reminds me a lot of myself at her age because she loooooooves children. Any child she sees, whether in a store or park or church, she's attracted to. She loves to make them giggle.

She's smart. She does such a great job with school. It amazes me how little help I need to give her. She loves to read.

She loves most of all to be with her cousins, Peyton and Paige. We are able to get the 4 girls together and lot and she is always excited about it.

She took the cake decorating class a year ago now. She still loves to do it. She made little heart shaped cakes a couple of weeks ago and decorated them. We drove around and passed them out to widdows and people who aren't married or to one couple who's husband had just had major surgery. We were going to pass them all out and then go home. She carried each creation to the front door and delivered them. We had a couple left and couldn't find anyone to give them to. She was perfectly willing to give them all away and not save even one for herself. I appreciate her willingness to sacrifice and minister for others.
