I just made 2 of these only I did them in my mini-muffin pan so I can share easier. The kids and hubby loved these. I got the recipe from a post of Donna's (hey there!).
I made a couple of different things to share this year. I did Laurie's (Hey, girl!) Pumpkin Spice cake/muffins. I also did the pretzel/kisses/m&m's combo too.
Want the recipes? Here you go...
DARN GOOD CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 pkg. plain devil's food or dark chocolate fudge cake mix
1 pkg. (3.9 oz.) chocolate instant pudding mix
4 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350° Lightly mist a 9"x12" pan with vegetable oil spray, then dust with flour. Shake out excess flour. Set aside. In large bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, sour cream, warm water and oil and blend with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Scrape down sides of bowl and increase speed to medium for another 2-3 minutes. Batter should be thick. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes (until toothpick in center comes out clean). Allow cake to cool completely.
*It took 20 minutes for the mini-muffins/cupcakes to get done.
Pumpkin-Spice Cake
1 spice cake mix
1 can of pumpkin (NOT the pie mix, just pumpkin)
eggs
oil
water
Mix the spice cake mix as directed on the box. Mix in the pumpkin at the same time you beat the cake mix. Bake as directed on the box, only a little bit longer as the pumpkin makes it more moist. It's YUMMMMMMMY!!!
Pretzel Kisses
1 bag pretzels (can be wreaths or twists)
4 pkgs Hershey kisses
1 big bag of m&m's
Lay pretzels on a baking sheet so they're flat. Place one kiss on each pretzel. Bake on 175 for about 5 minutes (DON'T over bake, it makes the chocolate hard). Then take the pan out of the oven. Take m&m's and smoosh them down in the center of the kisses. Place them in the refrigerator to cool and let the chocolate set back up. Because it's such low heat, my kids LOVE helping me make these. It's easy, fast and fun. They're super yummy and look great on a candy tray. I use red and green m&m's of course, but one could use any color.

JUST saw these pretzel treats at a friend's house tonight - hers used the Hugs candies instead of the Kisses - added a cute touch.

I just tried the pretzels. Other than it took awhile to unwrap all of the kisses it was easy. I'm waiting for them to set up to try them. Ok I already tried a melted one and it was good!
