"I go tractor, uh Grand-dad, farm!"

Those were the words Nathan used tonight. He woke up from his nap today and the first word out of his mouth was "Grand-dad?". He's been missing him so much. Between farming and a trip they took, he's not seen him nearly as much as he's used to. So, I called Dad and Mom and they agreed he could come up for the evening. So, off we went to Walmart to meet Nana. When I pulled in, Mom was waiting and I discovered she had a VERY flat tire. You can't tell well from the pictures, but it was flat to the rim. So, Grand-dad left the field and came to save the day.

Nathan was very happy to see him pull in the parking lot.

After quite a delay, Nathan headed to the field with his beloved Grand-dad. Honestly, I wasn't sure he'd ever get to farm with Grand-dad, because of Dad's disease. But, Dad's done almost all of the planting this year and Nathan got to enjoy a round with him tonight.

Mom took a couple of pictures for me.

This one's my favorite!...

If you click on this last picture, it'll make it full sized. Scan to the right of Nathan and my dad and see what else Mom captured in the picture! At the edge of the field. Do you see it? A pat on the back for anyone who can tell me what it is! Look close! Cool!

You act like you're surprised! We staged that....your dad, your son, the deer and I. We thought you'd like that extra touch. :-D

To finish off the pictures I should have taken a picture at Weiner Works. Nathan and I went to the table and while your dad was standing in line, Nathan yelled "G'dad...HOTDOG". The people at the next table were laughing and so were the people behind the counter.

G'dad and I had fun. Thanks for coming to visit, Nathan. Sorry for the delay in the WalMart parking lot but we're glad your mommy helped save the day.

Love you! Nana xoxoxoxoxo
