Babbling Brooke

Brookelyn has been on the fence all season long about whether or not Santa is for real. I never tell my kids that he is. I just let them think how they want. If I'm asked, my answer is always, "What do you think?" Lauren is no longer a believer, but Brookelyn has been until this year.

A good friend of mine owns the local children's book store. We spend a LOT of time (and $) in there. She had a promotion going on that if the kids wrote a letter to Santa, she would stamp it w/ a "naughty or nice" check off and attach a letter back from Santa and they send it in the mail to said child.

Brookelyn seriously worked on hers. We took it in the other day and put it in the special mail box.

On Saturday, here came her letter from Santa along w/ her letter marked "nice". She tore it open and had me read it to her. She then haughtily looked at her sister and proclaimed, "See, Lauren! I TOLD you Santa is for real!!!"

So, for this season, she's become a true believer in Santa...
