I haven't planted a garden since before Lauren was born. This Spring, at the playgroup we go to, the kids planted a seed in a styrofoam cup. Now, being the mom that I am, I knew that I'd kill it before it got very big and so there'd be no pressure to do anything wit it, right?......WRONG!!! Of course. This time the stinkin' things actually GREW! So, they had to be transplanted. blech!
So, here's Brookelyn pointing in her ever-posing way to the sprinkler that's about the water the said "garden". I've got 5 tomato plants (Hey, since ONE grew, I decided I might as well make it worth it and buy and plant 4 more!), 1 leaf lettuce plant (from play group) and about 4 carrot seeds. I know from past experience, that rabbits and squirrels love to dig up gardens, hence the chicken wire and posts (that I hammered in w/ a house hammer!).
Lauren actually helped me plant and transplant the stuff. I hope it grows for them/us.So, here's Brookelyn pointing in her ever-posing way to the sprinkler that's about the water the said "garden".
